Daredevil has been stripped of his powers, and is truly blind, while Ka-Zar is out getting him Ju-Ju berries that will heal him. Plunderer catches up to them, revealing why he's so interested in Ka-Zar. Ka-Zar has half of a valuable object that the Plunderer insists on having, even if it means capturing Ka-Zar and bringing him back to England with Daredevil.
