Although most of the heroes backing the New Avengers up were merely Strange's magical projections, they still manage to take down the Hood's entire crew. (The Hood himself, who was being pursued by Dr. Strange, somehow escaped.) They are rounded up by S.H.I.E.L.D. and held for questioning, though the Hood infiltrates the helicarrier to break out his crew and take the fight directly to the Avengers.
