80 years in the future, Jamie Madrox finally learns the cause of the mutant internment camps that a young Lucas Bishop grew up in. In this possible future, the only one that still had mutants in it, the messiah child grew to slaughter a million baseline humans. In the present, the race for possession of the child continues. The Marauders have seized the child from Bishop, who was about to kill it to prevent his future from occurring. Now he's transporting X-Force to battle with the combined forces of the Marauders and the Acolytes to try to reclaim the baby.
