The twelve heroes recently revived from their sixty-year slumber have finally returned to the United States... but also to a world they never knew. The government supplies them with a home better suited to the time that they came from, and encourages them to resume their hero work.Dynamic Man heads out to resume his heroic identity almost at once, but most of the others struggle to adjust to the state of the world. One of those who has the hardest time is Captain Wonder, who goes to visit his wife and children for the first time since World War II.
