Dan has been recently plagued by vivid dreams that inhabit the dream master himself, Nightmare. It seems that Nightmare has a plan for Ghost Rider and he uses Dan to bring the spirit of vengeance to him. But Ghost Rider is not easily contained even in Nightmare's realm. Dan and Ghost Rider, separated be Nightmare, merge once more and use their combined strength to escape the dream realm. Once free they find themselves trapped yet again, this time by none other than Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme.
